Papa Obet's new Christmas single "Regalo" is now available for streaming and downloading on digital music platforms worldwide.
Barangay LS 97.1 DJ Papa Obet has released the recording video for his self-composed Christmas song "Regalo."
Produced by Paulo Agudelo and GMA Music Publishing, the heartfelt ballad is about longing. Through this song, Papa Obet hopes that those who are apart will return home this Christmas and be with their loved ones.
"Sa song na ito, kapag sinabing regalo hindi siya materyal na bagay na gusto mong ma-receive this Christmas kung hindi 'yung presence ng kung sinumang gusto mong makasama ngayong Pasko. Pwedeng kaibigan, katrabaho, karelasyon, magulang, or even your pets ay pwede mong hingin this Christmas--'yung presence niya na makasama," he shared.
For Papa Obet, the only present he desires this season of giving is to be able to spend Christmas with his family.
"Kasi kapag materyal na bagay parang wala na. Presence na lang syempre, makasama 'yung family this Christmas kasi naka-line tayo sa entertainment and broadcast media... talagang 'yung duties kailangang ma-perform."
