Jeremiah Tiangco shares how he wrote 'Paa (Paa-kap)' unexpectedly while walking

Sparkle artist Jeremiah Tiangco has made a music comeback with the self-writter track "Paa-kap", the perfect song to accompany the rainy weather.
Jeremiah, The Clash season two grand champion, shares this is his first self-written single. "Ito 'yung unang release ko na sulat ko po so very surreal siya at the same time challenging kasi mahirap maging independent artist po," Jeremiah said during his online press interview.
"Pero malaki ang pagpapasalamat ko kasi marami po akong natutunan along the way sa process ng production and release, and anong pwedeng strategy for marketing."
Among his challenges was recording the song, "First time kong mag-record ng 12 hours. Ang bilis namin siyang nabuo pero 'yung recording, meticulous din po kasi 'yung music producer ko."
What makes "Paa-kap" extra serendipitous is how he was inspired to create the song in 10 minutes, while walking. "After magbakasyon sa Baguio, may taping ako sa GMA, and naglalakad ako along Tomas Morato."
He continued, "That time nasulat ko siya sa utak ko sa streets habang naglalakad. Ang weird. Nakabuo ako ng melody and kinanta ko lang. Actually, natapos ko lang siya within ten minutes. Siguro that time sobrang inspired and motivated ko lang nun kasi nakapagpahinga from bakasyon and pagbalik ko may work na naman."
Jeremiah described his songwriting process, "Minsan ganun po ako, sa kotse ko nasusulat. Hindi ko siya nabibigyan ng oras na ngayong araw, magsusulat ako. Hindi ko siya ganun nasusulat."
He also leaves the listeners to have their own interpretation of this soothing track. "Una, wala naman siyang inspiration talaga pero nung nabubuo na siya, kasama ko 'yung girlfriend ko while sinusulat ko so para rin sa kanya. Depende pa rin sa makakarinig kung ano ang preference or interpretation nila sa song."
