Brianna Bunagan opens up about her musical inspirations

Ever wonder what made singer Brianna Bunagan fall in love with music?

In an exclusive interview, the daughter of the legendary Michael V. revealed what inspired her passion for singing.

"I think I've been singing ever since baby ako kasi lagi akong nanonood ng mga Disney movies and noon, mabilis ako maka-pick up ng kanta," she said.

However, she revealed that she started to get the meaning out of lyrics when she was eight and began watching the popular musical film High School Musical.

She mentioned that Vanessa Hudgens and Lea Salonga were her ultimate idols then.

Brianna also could not forget her most memorable moment as a singer.

"It was the first time I stepped on stage, picked up a microphone, and performed in a large audience when I was ten. ‘Yung parang sumali ako sa musical theater workshop tapos may pa-recital sila, so nag-prepare talaga ako for that," she shared.

The musical theater workshop was unforgettable for her since, for the first time in her life, she had overcome her side of being shy.

Previously, Brianna dropped her Odyssey: Beyond the Horizon album last June 2024.

Brianna is also set to release her upcoming single "Kung Masasaktan Lang" this February on Spotify and other digital music platforms.
