Former Altas Chester Tolomia, Jett Vidal embrace discipline, competitiveness ingrained by UPHSD

If there’s one thing from their college days that former University of Perpetual Help System DALTA cagers Chester Tolomia and Jett Vidal still carry with them today, it’s discipline.

They both said that ever since day one, the school would push them to be at their top form but they bared it did not forget to teach them values, both on and off the court.

“I really learned the discipline which until now, I still practice a lot,” shared Tolomia, the brother of PBA star Mike Tolomia, on 'Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96’ on Monday.

“And also being competitive not only on the court. The school taught me to finish everything that I started doing.”

Tolomia is currently working at the Supreme Court and the former cager asserted that he may not be playing competitive basketball now but the values he adopted from Perpetual are still applicable in his present career.

Vidal shared the same belief, saying all throughout his stint with the Altas, he was able to give weight on the values than the on-court prowess.

“It’s really the discipline and until now, I carry it with me,” said Vidal, who donned the Altas uniform from 2011 through 2013.
