The Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers will have an intact core in the run-up to the NCAA Season 97 with seven players from the previous squad back to power the team.

The Louie Gonzalez-mentored club will have holdovers Don Aguado, Jhon Aguilar, Ryan Arenal, John Delos Santos, Marwin Dionisio, Chester Jungco, and Hommer Macatangay at its disposal.

Darius Estrella, who missed the majority of Season 95 due to an ACL injury, is set for his much-awaited comeback. The 6-foot-2 Estrella was named Most Valuable Player during the Season 90 juniors basketball tournament and is tipped to provide the hustle for the Final Four-seeking JRU.

With the exits of Ry Dela Rosa, Agem Miranda, and John Vasquez, JRU tapped Evan Agbon, Erol Bongay, Jason Celis, and Christian Mark Dela Rama as well as CJ Gonzales, Cruzette Gonzales, and Joshua Guiab.

The NCAA Season 97 live games air every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday to Sunday at 12:00 NN on GTV with replays every Monday and Thursday at 3:00 PM on GTV.
