Bonnie Tan wants Letran big man Jeo Ambohot to evolve into a complete player

Jeo Ambohot has been showing clear signs that he's all ready to storm the professional ranks with the 6-foot-7 bruiser emerging as the second leading scorer for Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the NCAA Season 97.

Knights head coach Bonnie Tan, though, would still want for the big man to improve his game in other departments and evolve into a more complete player.

"Slowly, he's getting his rhythm pero sabi ko nga sa kanya, para maging complete player siya as a big man, he has to get 'yung mga rebounds, 'yun 'yung nagkukulang sa kanya na department," Tan said after Ambohot, together with Brent Paraiso, steered them to an 81-59 win over Jose Rizal University on Saturday.

"Kasi before naman sa scoring, he can score naman."

And against JRU, Ambohot once against contributed a double-double with a game-highs of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Prior to the match against the Heavy Bombers, Ambohot was averaging 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 2 steals in six games.

Tan feels like Ambohot has more to show as he prepares to take the next step into the next PBA Rookie Draft.

"I'm happy for him kasi last year na niya 'to so sana tuloy-yuloy na 'to."
