The last time San Beda University won an NCAA title, Robert Bolick was still suiting up for the team.
The NorthPort Batang Pier guard helped the Red Lions complete a three-peat, winning the crown from 2016 to 2018 before he made a leap to the professional ranks.
And as he trooped to the FilOil EcoOil Centre to watch San Beda clash with Lyceum of the Philippines University, the 6-foot-1 cager said he believes the current Mendiola lineup has what it takes to make a Final Four return and eventually win the Season 98 title.
"Oo naman," Bolick said when asked if he thinks San Beda can reach greater heights this season.
Bolick knows too well what it means to be carrying the San Beda name on their uniforms, stressing playing for the school means winning a championship.
"Iba talaga 'pag nasa San Beda ka, it's either championship or bust.
With Bolick supporting his alma mater, though, San Beda lost to Lyceum, 89-81, to drop to 1-2 in the standings.
