Mark Omega was on target in University of Perpetual Help System DALTA's tough 55-54 escape of Emilio Aguinaldo College on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 98.
The sophomore bruiser tallied a double-double output of 15 points and 11 rebounds to go along with one block to help the ALTAs book their fourth win in seven games. He also shot 5-for-8 from the field (62.5-percent) even as his team struggled to shoot just 28.1-percent as a whole.
But the 6-foot-5 slotman was far from satisfied from his performance.
"Masasabi ko kulang pa 'yun, kailangan ko pang dagdagan 'yung effort ko lalo sa rebound kasi ang dami kong mistakes eh lalo na sa box out," Omega said.
Omega admitted he had a difficult time securing the boards against the Generals' frontcourt that included big man Allen Liwag, who is currently the league leader in rebounds with an average of 11.83 boards per game.
"Nahirapan ako kasi ang lalaki nila eh tapos 'pag nilabas 'yung malalaki, may sa-sub na malaki rin kaya sobrang hirap. Dinaan ko na lang sa effort at sipag."
