After big performance in OT win, LPU's JM Bravo greeted: 'Welcome back!'

JM Bravo was one of the offensive weapons that Lyceum of the Philippines University relied on in the past season as well as in their preseason activities.

But seven games into the season, Bravo had only been averaging 5.71 points and 4.57 rebounds.

The sophomore baller, though, found his old touch when he steered the Pirates to an 82-79 overtime win over San Sebastian College-Recoletos in NCAA Season 98 on Sunday.

And head coach Gilbert Malabanan recognized that effort from his player.

Bravo finished with 14 points, including crucial seven markers in the extra period, to go along with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

For his part, he just wanted to repay the continuous trust the coaching staff is giving him despite his struggles for most of their campaign.
