Sitting at the bottom with a 0-9 slate, Emilio Aguinaldo College head coach Oliver Bunyi admitted that pressure and raised expectations have been taking a toll on the Generals.
EAC was dealt its ninth straight loss of the season on Friday with the Generals absorbing a 78-61 loss to San Sebastian College-Recoletos to remain winless heading into the second round.
“It’s more on the mental side eh, napagusapan na namin ‘yun because of the pressure and expectations,” said Bunyi.
EAC is hosting a season for the first time, giving the team more reason to show its wares against the league’s favorites.
Bunyi, though, said their winless campaign so far is unexpected, but stressed their team is young and inexperienced.
“Actually unexpected lahat ng nagyayari but as the season goes by, may nakikita na kaming maraming problema,” he added.
