Perpetual awaits fate of Kim Aurin as veteran commits violation of team rule | NCAA Philippines

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA is awaiting the fate of its veteran Kim Aurin after the graduating cager was found to have violated a team rule.

According to ALTAs head coach Myk Saguiguit, the 25-year-old shooting guard has already been slapped with at least a one-game suspension, forcing him to miss their game against Colegio de San Juan de Letran on Tuesday.

But what comes next for Aurin remains up in the air as of the moment, with team management yet to issue a final decision on Aurin's case.

"Meron siya na-violate na team protocol namin. Ayoko muna mag-elaborate kasi gusto kong malaman pa 'pag pinatawag ako. Malaman ko pa," Saguiguit said following their 74-59 loss to the Knights.

Saguiguit opted not to disclose Aurin's violation pending the decision.

"Kasi ngayon, hindi ko muna pinapakialamanan kasi gusto ko mag-focus sa game. Baka bukas meron na," added the mentor.

"'Yan 'yung penalty niya, hindi siya makalaro ngayon against Letran pero hindi ko alam kung ano pa 'yung mga susunod. Yes, may na-violate siyang team rule."

Aurin is Perpetual's leading scorer, averaging 13.75 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.88 blocks in eight games.
