Cade Flores is planning on leaving everything out on the floor from here on out in a bid to lead Arellano University back to the Final Four for the first time since 2016.
"We're on a mission right now. We're trying to make it to the Final Four. I'm gonna leave everything I have on the court every game," Flores said after powering the Chiefs past Lyceum of the Philippines University on Wednesday.
"I just want to make that happen."
The 6-foot-4 banger was nothing short of dominant in their 77-63 victory over the Pirates, dropping a career-high 23 points alongside 12 rebounds, two assists, seven steals, and one block.
For the Filipino-Australian, it's his contribution on the defensive end that he wants to bring more of for the Chiefs.
"My steals and my defense is what I want to prioritize in the way I play basketball. My points come from defensive stops. My main focus is to defend players and steals," he said.
"That's the way I play."
Arellano last made it to the Final Four in Season 92, when the Chiefs managed to finish second in the eliminations en route to a Finals clash with then host San Beda University, but fell short in two games.
