Graduating Jeff Egan sees bright future for Perpetual ALTAs

For Jeff Egan, the future is bright for University of Perpetual Help System DALTA even after a shaky NCAA Season 98 campaign that saw the team miss out on the Final Four after achieving that feat the previous season.

"Ang daming nangyari this season eh, maraming ups and downs so happy naman ako kahit papaano kasi tingin ko naman 'yung team namin next season mabubuo talaga lalo na 'yung mga rookies namin," said Egan.

"Nilo-look forward na lang namin 'yung next season para sa kanila."

The ALTAs will still have a mostly intact roster come Season 99 as only Egan will graduate.

Taking on the veteran roles are Jielo Razon and Rey Barcuma while rookies Cyrus Nitura, Jun Roque, and Shawn Orgo are tipped to step up come their next campaign.

"Mataas 'yung ceiling ng Perpetual eh kasi ang lalaki tapos lahat on their third season so ibig sabihin 'pag nasa third season ka na parang medyo alam mo na 'yung NCAA, alam mo na 'yung feels," added head coach Myk Saguiguit.

"And wala naman kaming addition eh, kumbaga 'yan pa rin sila."

Perpetual ended its campaign on a losing note after falling to San Sebastian College-Recoletos on Friday to go 7-11.
