The legacy of reigning PBA Most Valuable Player and 2014 NCAA Most Valuable Player Scottie Thompson is now cemented in the walls of his alma mater, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.
The university on Thursday retired Thompson's jersey number 6 during Perpetual's University Week.
In a short speech, Thompson thanked his alma mater for the recognition.

During his collegiate career, Thompson and the ALTAs clinched a Final Four spot thrice (2012-14). He was part of the Mythical Team thrice (2012, 2014, 2015) and was also named as the NCAA's Most Improved Player in 2012.
Thompson was joined by his wife Jinky and school officials Richard Tamayo, Board Secretary of UPHSD, and Anton Tamayo, member of the Board of Directors, ALTAS team manager, and Scottie's former teammate.
