After 33 years, finally, Mapua University is once again a champion in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
Mapua completed a sweep of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in the best-of-three series, with the Cardinals winning Game 1, 84-73, and Game 2, 94-82.
