The 6-foot-2 forward, though, said he has yet to give his commitment but revealed he was indeed approached by the Knights but had a change of heart.

"Nag-decommit lang ako kasi mas alam ko at pamilya ko na 'di ako bagay po dito," Dela Rama told GMA News Online.

[I've decommited because my family and I know that I'm not a good fit here.]

Dela Rama was one of the bright spots for the Squires in their Season 100 campaign, where the two-time reigning champions failed to defend the title after finishing fourth overall.

Despite not making the finals, the 19-year-old Dela Rama showed a lot of promise after averaging 11.55 points, 8.91 rebounds, 1.45 assists, 1.09 blocks, and 0.82 steals.

His stellar showing landed him spots in the Mythical Five and Defensive Team.
