Mythical Five cast Jan Roluna opts to stay home at Perpetual for college

Jan Roluna is set to run it back with several of his high school teammates as they reunite at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA for NCAA Season 101 to begin their college careers.

The high-flying young star confirmed his commitment to the ALTAs, where he is expected to be a major asset to head coach Olsen Racela’s new-look squad.

Roluna, a member of the NCAA Season 100 Juniors Basketball Mythical Five, is the latest Junior ALTA to make the leap to the seniors team, following the footsteps of other key players JD Pagulayan, Jericho Cristino, Aries Borja, and Kelsey Baldoria.

Together, they aim to replicate the success they enjoyed in the junior ranks, where they helped lead the school to a historic championship in Season 100.

Roluna was the Junior ALTAs' top scorer in their title run, posting averages of 15.31 points together with 6.62 rebounds, 2.46 assists, 2.31 steals, and 0.38 blocks to prove his all-around game.

In the seniors team, Roluna is expected to provide a significant boost to a core group of holdovers led by his former high school teammate Mark Gojo Cruz, along with veterans Jon Abis, JP Boral, and Shawn Orgo.

They will be joined by incoming transferees Patrick Sleat, Kenji Duremdes, and Kylle Magdangal, further strengthening the ALTAs' roster.
