Jose Rizal University defended the NCAA 3x3 basketball title after defeating San Beda University, 22-21, last Sunday at the Heavy Bombers' own gym in Mandaluyong.
Shawn Argente, who was named Most Valuable Player, along with Justin Lozano, Joseph Pangilinan, and Vince Sarmiento comprised the squad which brought home JRU's second straight 3x3 title.
De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, meanwhile, claimed the bronze after defeating University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, 21-18.
In the juniors division, Emilio Aguinaldo College won against Perpetual, 19-18, to claim the crown.
The Brigadiers squad is composed of MVP Kelly Coronel, Clintfranc Bonus, Noel Lanceta, and Mohammad Jawali.
San Beda University, on the other hand, copped the bronze with its victory against JRU, 19-18.
