Clint Bonus drained a huge jumper as Emilio Aguinaldo College pulled off a mighty 83-81 win against Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the NCAA Season 101 juniors basketball tournament on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The 18-year-old guard knocked down a mid-range jumper after isolating Mico Pascual with 25 seconds left in the fourth, giving the Brigadiers a slim 82-81 lead.

Noel Lanceta then sealed it with a split from the line as they dealt the Squires their first loss of the season to improve to 2-1 in Group B. Letran, which was unbeaten in its first three games against JRU, San Beda, and Benilde, dropped to 3-1 but still holds the top spot.

Bonus stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and one steal while Kelly Coronel continued his steady presence with 16 markers, two boards, three blocks, and one steal.

James Castro and Tristan Allam both chipped in 11 points for EAC with the latter also grabbing 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double outing.

Nathan Egea paced Letran with 16 points while Pascual chimed in with 15 markers, six rebounds, and two dimes.
