Tristan Allam posted 21 points and 10 rebounds to power Emilio Aguinaldo College past Arellano University, 94-87, on Friday in the NCAA Season 101 juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Centre.
The Braves may have scored the first basket, but it was all EAC from there, as the Brigadiers led by as much as 16, 94-78, with under three minutes remaining in regulation.
Arellano mounted a late 9-0 run, but EAC held on to secure their fourth straight win.
Aside from Allam, Xyriel Macahipay and Kelly Coronel added 15 points each, while Clint Bonus chipped in 14.
Axel Mendoza led the Braves with 18 points, followed by Sean Franco with 16, Ray Ladica with 12, and Aaron Manansala with 11.
With the win, EAC improved to 4-1, while Arellano slipped to 3-2.
