JC Ynot erupted for a double-double to help San Sebastian College-Recoletos eke out a 79-69 win against Lyceum of the Philippines University in the NCAA Season 101 juniors basketball on Saturday at the Filoil Centre.
The do-it-all guard dropped 19 points, which were built on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc, together with 10 assists, seven rebounds, one steal, and one block for the streaking Staglets.
With the win, San Sebastian captured its third straight win after losing eight of their last nine games to improve to 4-8 in Group A.
Mark Esperanza provided huge lift off the bench by pouring 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds while Browyn Tepan and Angelo Aninipot chipped in 14 and 10 markers each.
Lamarcus Pelayo and Jericho Abrantes paced the Junior Pirates in the loss with the former scattering 20 points alongside seven rebounds while latter churned out 16 markers, six boards, and three assists.
LPU, which stunned powerhouse Mapua University with a an 80-73 win the last time out, fell to 3-8.
