NCAA: San Beda ousts LPU to book Final Four slot

San Beda University dominated Lyceum of the Philippines University in the quarterfinals, 91-67, on Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena to book a spot in the NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball Final Four.

It was a wire-to-wire win for the Red Lions as they led 51-40 before they surged in the third period and outscored LPU, 22-11, to claim a 73-51 lead heading onto the fourth.

San Beda then continued to pound into the final frame to clinch the second semis spot after University of Perpetual Help System DALTA earlier.

Yukien Andrada had 20 points to lead the Red Lions to another semis stint, while Janti Miller had 18 points. Bismarck Lina had 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Ato Barba had 13 points as he capped his collegiate career.
