The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Blazers have bolstered their coaching staff as they gear up for another campaign in NCAA Season 102.
Benilde Sports, the official social media page of the college’s athletics office, announced that Topex Robinson and Gilbert Lao will join head coach Charles Tiu on the Blazers’ bench.
Robinson, currently the head coach of De La Salle University, will serve as team consultant, while Lao, an assistant coach at Adamson University, will take on the roles of big man and defensive coach.
Robinson previously handled San Sebastian College-Recoletos and Lyceum of the Philippines University in the NCAA. Lao, meanwhile, was part of Rob Labagala’s coaching staff last season with the Golden Stags.
The Blazers reached the Final Four in NCAA Season 101 but were eliminated by eventual champions San Beda University.
