St. Benilde booters post twin kill in NCAA

College of St. Benilde posted a twin kill Monday as their juniors and seniors squad trashed guest school Emilio Aguinaldo College in the 85th NCAA football championships at the PhilSports pitch in Pasig. Following their overwhelming 36-0 victory over Letran, defending juniors champion De La Salle Greenhills-CSB Junior Blazers literally did not break a sweat in their second triumph as they won by default over the no-show EAC Brigadiers.
Their seniors’ counterparts also stormed to their second straight victory, trouncing EAC Generals, 2-0 in the second match. Action has yet to pick up when Oliver Villanueva scored the first goal with under one minute gone by afterwhich John Mulliken added another in the 30th minute. With the win, the Blazers joined University of Perpetual Help atop the leaderboard with 2-0 win-loss slates. The EAC Brigadiers and Generals both slipped to 0-2. – GMANews.TV
