It’s all systems go for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 96 with the Opening Ceremony happening today.
On the latest episode of ‘Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96’, real life couple Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia, the hosts of the Opening Ceremony, gave the fans a sneak peek of what's happening behind the scenes of the much-awaited opening festivities.
‘Rise Up Stronger’ hosts Martin Javier and Sophia Senoron, with the help of prominent sports analysts, also delved deeper on what to expect from the historic return of the country’s oldest collegiate fixture.
John Vic de Guzman, an NCAA product out of College of St. Benilde, shared a rundown of which team can pull the biggest surprise this season while also naming his top NCAA volleyball players of all time.
Basketball guru Mikee Reyes named his top NCAA cagers from Season 95 while expert and basketball coach Martin Antonio listed down his top NCAA ballers from the past decades.
Lastly, Roberto ‘Kitoy’ Cruz, a decorated personage in taekwondo both as a player and as a coach, shared his list of top five NCAA jins which, surprisingly, comprised of four siblings.
Kapuso celebrities from various GMA shows wished NCAA student-athletes good luck before they embark in this year's competitions.
