College of Saint Benilde dominates opening day of NCAA 96 men's speed kicking

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) ruled the first day of NCAA Season 96 senior men's speed kicking event on Tuesday.

CSB jin Ivan Murray Solimen garnered a score of 6.908 to take home the gold medal in the seniors finweight division where five other participants joined.

San Beda University's Ivan Karl Esquillo (6.667) and Francis Job Anthony Odal (6.483), meanwhile, copped the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

Other contestants include Hadrian Cayle Miel (6.208) of San Sebastian College-Recoletos and Ariel Rupa (5.992) of Arellano University.

On Monday, the NCAA wrapped up the juniors division for speed kicking with Benilde's  Raphael Ongkiko ruling the middleweight/light middleweight division after scoring 7.067 while Arellano's Joshua Lyndon Dionio tallied 6.592 to topple the heavyweight division.
