Arellano Chiefsquad guns for four-peat as NCAA Cheerleading Competition returns | NCAA Philippines

Arellano University aims for a fourth straight title as the NCAA Cheerleading Competition returns on Sunday, April 30, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The Arellano Chiefsquad won the title from Seasons 92 to 94 and had their seventh overall title in the 2019 edition of the tournament.

San Sebastian's Golden Stags Cheerleading Squad will start the tournament, followed by perennial contenders Mapua Cheerping Cardinals and ALTAs Perpsquad, then the LPU Pirates Pep Squad and the Letran Cheering Squad.

The second half of the tournament will have the defending champs in their title defense performance, then the JRU Pep Squad, Benilde Blazers Pep Squad, the EAC Pep Squad, with the San Beda Red Corps wrapping things up.

Champions and winners of NCAA's sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, track and field, swimming, beach volleyball, online taekwondo, and online chess will also be recognized in the said event.

Aside from the cheerleading competition, XOXO, 1st.One, PPop Generation, and VXON will perform in the event hosted by Rhian Ramos, Martin Javier, and Maureen Schrijvers.

The NCAA will also close the season in the said event and Emilio Aguinaldo College will turn over the hosting duties for Season 99 to Jose Rizal University.
