NCAA: Letran, San Beda, Perpetual remain perfect in women's beach volleyball | NCAA Philippines

Colegio de San Juan de Letran, San Beda University, and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA maintained their perfect records in Day 2 of the NCAA Season 99 women's volleyball tournament on Thursday.

Letran took down Mapua University (21-13, 21-14), Lyceum of the Philippines University (21-11, 21-9), and San Sebastian College-Recoletos (21-8, 21-11) to continue their title defense bid.

San Beda, on the other hand, dispatched De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (21-14, 20-22, 15-12), Arellano University (21-12, 21-15), and capped the day with a three-set victory against Emilio Aguinaldo College (21-18, 17-21, 15-10).

Perpetual, meanwhile, beat LPU (21-16, 21-13), San Sebastian (21-13, 21-18), and Benilde (21-15, 21-15).

By the end of the second day of the tournament, the three schools were all at 5-0, followed by EAC at 4-1 at the fourth spot.

Arellano University ended the first two days with a 2-2 card, while Jose Rizal University (1-3) and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (1-4) each has a win in the tourney. Mapua University (0-4), Lyceum of the Philippines University (0-4), and San Sebastian College (0-5) have yet to win a match.

On the men's side, Perpetual remained on top with a 4-1 card. The ALTAs also hold the top spot in the juniors division with four wins in all their games.

The tournament will run until January 28.
