Benilde rules NCAA Season 100 lawn tennis

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde ruled the lawn tennis tournament held last March at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

Benilde bagged the title in the men's and women's divisions, while the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA ruled the juniors tourney.

In the men's division, Perpetual claimed silver, while Mapua University and San Beda University settled for the bronze. Benilde's Marco Macalintal was named as the Rookie Most Valuable Player.

San Sebastian College-Recoletos, meanwhile, finished second in the women's division, while Perpetual placed third. Czarina Claire Miraflor was also named as Rookie MVP.

John Rey Moreno was named Coach of the Year for both divisions, while Macalintal and Miraflor were also awarded the Freshman of the Year plums for their respective divisions.

In the juniors division, Mapua finished second while San Beda placed third. Perpetual's Kale Cyd Villamar was named as the MVP, while San Beda's Al Zayeed Baid was Rookie of the Year. Perpetual's Shan Jette Ricamara was the Freshman of the Year, while Samuel Nuguit was the Coach of the Year.
