Storied San Sebastian Lady Stags eye title no. 24 as NCAA volleyball makes comeback | NCAA Philippines

San Sebastian College-Recoletos was once the most feared team in the NCAA women's volleyball fixture. But for the past 11 years, the Lady Stags have struggled to reclaim their place on top.

After San Sebastian ruled Season 86 against Colegio de San Juan de Letran, the title seemed elusive to the school. They, however, finished first in the elimination round of Season 89, 91, and 92 but failed to complete the championship run.

This Season 97, though, the wards of head coach Roger Gorayeb are eager to flip the narrative as they look to deliver the school's 24th crown.

Shane Requierme is tipped to show the way alongside other holdovers in Jewelle Bermillo, Jamille Carreon, Bianca Ordoña,, Alyssa San Juan, Alexia Vea Sison, Kamille Tan, and Roxanne Tan.

Reyann Cañete, Kristine Dionisio, Jamie Guibao, Christine Marasigan, Katherine Santos, and Angela Ultu, meanwhile, are up to help San Sebastian quench a years-long drought.
