LPU's third set collapse part of challenges of a young team, says coach Cromwell Garcia

Despite a strong start, Lyceum of the Philippines University needed a fourth set for them to win their match against Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

Lyceum defeated Letran to notch its third win in NCAA Season 97,  25-14, 25-22, 28-30, 25-12.

For head coach Cromwell Garcia, falling short in the third set was a challenge that a young team like LPU could expect to face.

"Siguro part of being a young team, 'yung maturity namin, akala nila matatapos na sa two sets," Garcia said in a post-game interview.

Despite the collapse in the third, LPU took care of business against Letran in the fourth with the help of Venice Puzon, who finished the game with eight points on six aces, eight excellent digs, and 23 excellent sets.

LPU currently holds a 3-2 card in the tournament.
