Johna Dolorito has been consistent for Lyceum of the Philippines University, making her the second top scorer of the Lady Pirates following Jaja Tulang.
In the win against Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Dolorito scored 18 points on 16 attacks.
Despite the stellar offensive output, Dolorito admitted that she had a hard time at it at first.
Nung nakuha ko na kung saan dadalhin 'yung bola, dun nagtuloy-tuloy ang offense ko," she said on Saturday after their win against the Lady Knights.
However, putting the offensive focus on Dolorito and on Jewel Maligmat was apparently part of head coach Cromwell Garcia's strategy.
True enough, Tulang was limited to just 11 points for this game.
Maligmat finished with 11 points in the LPU win, which gave them a 3-2 card.
