Arellano veteran Cess Bello vows to finish her last year strong despite knee injury

Cess Bello vowed to play through pain as she plays her last stint for Arellano University in the ongoing NCAA Season 97 women's volleyball tournament.

Bello on Saturday shared that both her knees have swelling---an injury she said was connected to the scoliosis she was diagnosed with back in Season 94.

Against University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, the 5-foot-5 open spiker still came out effective as she scattered nine points as the Lady Chiefs swept the Lady Altas, 25-12, 25-13, 25-23, to pick up their sixth win in seven games.

But Bello shared that she wasn't in tip-top shape due to the injury that has been bugging her for more than four years now.

Amidst the pain, though, Bello promised to continue playing for the school, especially now that she is one of the leaders on the floor in their bid to keep the title for four seasons in a row.
