Arellano University head coach Obet Javier said he is still proud of the Lady Chiefs despite their bridesmaid finish in the NCAA Season 97 women's volleyball tournament.
Javier admitted that even before the start of the season, they were aware that they may have a hard time in Season 97.
Javier said despite their short preparation time, he is happy with the results of his wards.
The Lady Chiefs ended their run with a 7-2 card in the elimination round, and defeated Jose Rizal University in the stepladder semis. They were swept by the College of Saint Benilde in the finals.
