University of Perpetual Help System DALTA booked an outright slot in the finals after outlasting Mapua University in a five-set thriller, 23-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 15-4, on Sunday in the NCAA Season 98 men's volleyball tournament at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

Louie Ramirez led the ALTAs with 31 points  (28 attacks, 3 aces) on top of eight excellent receptions, while Joshua Zareno had 20 points as the Las Piñas-based squad completed the sweep and extended their winning streak to 31 which started in February 2018.
