De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde booked an outright slot in the NCAA women's volleyball finals after making quick work of Jose Rizal University, 25-10, 25-21, 25-13, on Sunday to complete their elimination round sweep at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.
Gayle Pascual led Benilde with 16 points while Michelle Gamit and Zam Nolasco chipped in 10 points apiece in Benilde's 25th straight win which started in 2020. Cloanne Mondoñedo had 23 excellent sets for the Lady Blazers.
JRU team captain Syd Niegos was the only Lady Bomber who scored in double digits with 10. With the loss, JRU ended the season with a 1-8 card.
The stepladder playoff is expected to start on March 26.
