Lyceum of the Philippines University overcame Jose Rizal University, 25-21, 25-9, 25-22, to maintain its perfect record in the NCAA Season 99 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
Johna Dolorito paced the Lady Pirates with 16 points anchored on 14 attacks and two aces, while Hiromi Osada also stood out with 14 points.
With the win, the Intramuros-based squad extended its winning streak to six, but head coach Cromwel Garcia said they will go back to zero when they return to training.
"'Yung 6-0, for this day lang eh. Tomorrow, 0-0 na ulit siya and we're going to prepare for another game," Garcia told GMA News Online.

Shanine Pretta, meanwhile, led the Lady Bombers with eight points.
The Lady Pirates will face Colegio de San Juan de Letran next on Tuesday, while JRU will hope to barge into the win column when they face San Beda University on Wednesday.
