Colegio de San Juan de Letran notched its second straight victory at the expense of University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-17, on Thursday in the NCAA Season 100 men's volleyball tournament at the Altas' gym in Las Piñas City.
John Wayne Araño made all of Letran's 29 excellent sets as four players scored in double digits.
Bem Bautista had 22 points from 17 attacks, four blocks, and an ace, on top of 18 excellent receptions and six excellent digs to lead the Knights, while Vince Himzon and Lorenz Vicente had 13 points apiece. Dave Lardizabal added 10 points as the Intramuros-based squad improved to 5-3.
Jeff Marapoc had 21 points, while Kobe Tabuga had 16 points as the Altas fell short in their home stand. Perpetual, which went down to 5-3, also absorbed its second straight loss after losing to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
