San Sebastian College-Recoletos team consultant Roger Gorayeb and his former player, Thai import Jang Bualee, reunited again as the latter watched the Lady Stags play in the NCAA on Friday.
Bualee is a two-time Most Valuable Player in the former Shakey's V-League where she played under Gorayeb's San Sebastian squad.
While the Lady Stags of the current generation was not able to see Bualee play in action, Gorayeb said his players should watch his longtime import.
If you need points, give it to her," Gorayeb added.
Bualee, meanwhile, said the players have improved a lot since she first came here in 2005, especially with Gorayeb still training the Lady Stags.
"He's the best coach here," Bualee said. "The game today was so hard but he won so congratulations coach."
San Sebastian defeated Arellano, 25-21,18-25, 25-17, 25-23.
Bualee is in Manila as part of Nakhon Ratchasima QminC's staff in the AVC Champions League. The Thai club also advanced to the semifinals after defeating Creamline on Thursday.
