NCAA: EAC bounces back at Letran’s expense in men’s volleyball

Emilio Aguinaldo College bounced back at the expense of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 25-21, 28-26, 25-16, on Friday in the NCAA Season 101 men’s volleyball tournament at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

The victory came after EAC absorbed a loss to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde last Friday and served as revenge for its first-phase preliminary round defeat.

Ruther Abor tallied 19 points and 11 digs to lead the Generals, while Frelwin Taculog and Michael Gela added 14 and 13 points, respectively, as EAC improved to 7-3.

Bembem Bautista scored 13 points, while Dave Lardizabal chipped in 11 as Letran slipped to 5-5.

EAC will face San Beda University next on Sunday, while Letran takes on Lyceum of the Philippines University on Wednesday.
