De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's Zam Nolasco capped a stellar season by earning the NCAA Season 101 women's volleyball MVP award, extending the Lady Blazers’ streak with three consecutive players claiming the league’s top honor.
The veteran middle blocker also became Benilde’s third MVP in the past five seasons, following Mycah Go in Seasons 97 and 100 and Cloanne Mondoñedo in Season 99.
Nolasco, whose towering net presence lifted Benilde to its fifth straight finals appearance, also won the Best Middle Blocker award alongside rookie Ashley Toriado of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Nolasco’s teammate, Chenae Basarte, earned the Best Setter award, while their first-year standout Cam Bartolome claimed both the Freshman of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors for her exceptional performance as both an outside spiker and middle blocker.
Angel Habacon of San Beda University secured her second Best Outside Spiker award, repeating her feat from her rookie season in Season 99, while Benilde’s Shekaina Lleses took home the other Best Outside Spiker honor.
Colegio de San Juan de Letran's graduating star Judiel Nitura was named the Best Opposite Hitter for the second straight year after steering the Lady Knights to their third straight finals trip.
Another Letran standout, Lara Mae Silva, was named Best Libero, joining the elite group of players to win the award three times after previously claiming the top libero honors in Seasons 99 and 100.
