The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Lady Knights captured the NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball crown after outlasting De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in the finals, 15-25, 25-17, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12, on Friday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
Letran ended a 28-year title drought, with their last championship coming in 1998, when current head coach Mayeth Carolino was still playing.
Letran also denied the Lady Blazers a five-peat, as Judiel Nitura copped the Finals MVP honors.
