Giselle Ombay is a reporter for GMA News Online, currently covering Malacañang. 

She has been with GMA Network Inc. since 2021, initially tasked to cover the Office of the Vice President, as well as the education and health beats. She was later assigned to cover the Senate of the Philippines for a year prior to her current assignment.

She has received several accolades for her reportage on various topics, including the 2025 Lasallian Scholarum Awards’ Outstanding Online Feature Story on Youth and Education for her three-part series titled “The Cost of Miseducation.” Her special report, “Mending a Broken Heart,” was also named the Best News Feature by the Philippine Heart Association in 2024. 

Giselle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the University of Santo Tomas, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Foreign Service degree at the Philippine Women’s University.
