Giselle Ombay is a reporter for GMA News Online, currently covering the Philippine Senate and the Office of the Vice President (OVP).

She has been with GMA Network Inc. since 2021, initially in charge of the health and education beats. She has received several accolades for her reportage on various topics, including the 2025 Lasallian Scholarum Awards’ Outstanding Online Feature Story on Youth and Education for her three-part series titled “The Cost of Miseducation.” Her special report, “Mending a Broken Heart in the Philippines,” was also named the Best News Feature at the 2024 Philippine Heart Association Media Awards.

Giselle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the University of Santo Tomas, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Foreign Service degree at the Philippine Women’s University.
