Another medal has been added to the Philippine haul in the Asian Games after Benjamin Keith Sembrano bagged a bronze medal for Taekwondo on Thursday.

Sembrano qualified for the semifinals after beating Kuwait's Gh M Hassan Abdullah in the round of 16 and Thailand's Chetrapee Tangjai in the quarterfinals earlier in the day.

He later went down against China's Jiannan Huang in the semis to settle for the bronze, the fourth bronze medal finish for the Philippines in taekwondo in the Asiad this year.

Another taekwondo bet, Jane Rafaelle Narra fell to China's Yunfei Guo in the quarterfinals of the women's -67 kg to end her Asiad campaign. — JST, GMA News
