Digital tours and a new gaming experience at the GMA Trade Show

Last April 8th, GMA Network conducted a trade show at the SMX Convention Center as part of its celebration of 60 years in the industry. The event launched new faces and new programs and was anchored by the most glamorous variety show in the country, Party Pilipinas. Celebrities Kyla and Jay R, Mark Bautista, Aljur Abrenica, Frencheska Farr, Geoff Taylor, Kris Lawrence and Mark Herras were on hand to lend star power to the night while new Kapuso stars Sarah Labahti, Steven Silva, Joshua Dionisio, Jake Vargas, Bea Binene, Barbie Forteza, Julie Ann San Jose, and Elmo (Francis Magalona's son) gave a rousing performance. GMA New Media Inc. was also on hand to showcase the websites that reflect GMA's presence on the internet. NMI also offered the various techno-creative solutions to potential clients ooking beyond the run-of-the-mill solutions. Digital tours, raffles and a cool new gaming experience were offered to the hundreds of visitors to the NMI booth. Advertisers and agencies were taken on a tour of the websites in NMI's network--GMANews.tv, iGMA.tv, WMN.ph, PEP.ph and SPOT.ph. Participants were given a chance to win cool electronic gadgets. Monica M. Patoc of Mediaforce, Lanie B. Guevarra Simbul of Asatsu, and Mil Alino of Mindshare won a Flip Camcorder each. Lei Delizo of Starcom won an iPod Touch. NMI also gave away USB memory sticks containing information that will allow booth visitors to claim more gifts when they visit www.igma.tv and www.gmanews.tv between April 16 to 30. The trade show also became a platform for the soft launch of "Bandmaster," a new game of NMI's joint venture with iPVG called X-Play. Those who visited the booth were given a chance to play and experience the fun of being in a virtual band. Participants chose their musical instruments and were given special gifts after playing the game. This special celebration was attended by the Network's top executives headed by GMA Chairman, President and CEO Felipe L. Gozon; Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R.
