Pru Life UK brings Cha-Ching money smarts to Leyte

Pru Life UK, one of the leading life insurance companies in the country, recently conducted its Cha-Ching Band World Tour school activation in Bolongtohan Elementary School in Dulag, Leyte in partnership with a storytelling activity of Smart Communications Inc. Cha-Ching is a landmark animated financial literacy program initiated by Pru Life UK regional headquarters Prudential Corporation Asia in partnership with Cartoon Network. The Cha-Ching musical cartoon series was released in seven Asian markets, including the Philippines, in September last year. The multi-platform program introduces children to money-smart concepts of earning, saving, smart spending and donating. The Cha-Ching Financial Literacy for the Youth program will be officially implemented in the 2012-2013 curriculum of two pilot schools through a partnership between the Department of Education (DepEd) and Pru Life UK.
Students of Bolongtohan Elementary School participate in the discussion on smart money management, which was integrated in a session of watching episodes of the Cha-Ching musical animated program.
