Frabelle taps Chiz Escudero as endorser of meat products

Frabelle Corporation, the global fishing company which recently ventured into the value-added meat industry, has tapped Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero III as the endorser of its new line of products.  

Frannie Tiu-Laurel, company president, said the firm chose Escudero as its first brand ambassador because of the senator’s reputation.

 

“People trust him [Escudero]. A lot of faith of the Filipino people rests upon his shoulder, and I really see that it will help our product,” Tiu-Laurel said in a press conference Thursday.

 

Escudero said he was convinced to endorse the product since it comes from a local brand “at par with world-class products.”

 

“Hindi lang sa hindi pahuhuli sa lasa ng international brands, but because it’s meticulously prepared. Hitsurang malinis, lasang malinis, puwedeng-puwede pang manguna,” he said.

 

The senator, who took a short course in culinary arts in 2010, named Frabelle’s Yummy Hotdogs as his personal favorite.  

In a statement, Frabelle said its new meat products “take pride in adhering to the old-world classic disciplines of food processing” such as natural smoking and blow-torching of sugar in hams.
