Dr. Alfredo Bengzon to receive QC's Gawad Parangal Award

Dr. Alfredo Bengzonwill be awarded with Quezon City’s Gawad Parangal Award on October 12
The vice president of the professional schools of Ateneo de Manila University, Dr. Alfredo Bengzon will be awarded with Quezon City’s Gawad Parangal Award.
Bengzon will be receiving the award for his work as secretary of health in the Cory Aquino administration and for his involvement with the Ateneo.
The Gawad Parangal Award is given to citizens of Quezon City who have made remarkable contributions to his profession and community. The selection of awardees is done by its Selection Board, led by the previous awardee and former UP President Emerlinda Roman.
Bengzon will receive the award on October 12, 2012 on the occasion of the City’s 73rd Foundation Day Anniversary at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
