Ever wondered how a single click of a button can change the lives of people? Technology these days poses a notion that through social media, change is possible. With the mid-term elections approaching, this handy mode of communication might just be one powerful tool that can help mobilize a transformation the nation needs. On March 22, Friday, GMA News and Public Affairs mounts a Social Media Seminar for its election partners from the De La Salle University community.   The seminar aims to discuss among its audiences composed of students, teachers, and school administrators topics such as Citizen Journalism, GMA’s YouScoop project, and the network’s campaign to promote the responsible use of social media - Think Before You Click. Also being presented is the music video and primer of Dapat Tama, GMA’s 2013 Election advocacy campaign.   Speakers for the said seminar are GMA News Online’s Editor-in-Chief Howie Severino and Multimedia Managers Pia Faustino and Ederic Eder.   TOYM awardee Kara David hosts the event happening on Friday, March 22, at the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall, 4th floor Multipurpose Room of the De La Salle University from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Press release
