'The Wolverine' poster and photo reveal

The latest posters and character photos of “The Wolverine” that recently surfaced online brought great anticipation to fans and movie buffs across the globe. Intensifying the excitement, director Mangold shares a 6-second video release, which he calls the tweaser.

Starring the much-celebrated and widely followed Hugh Jackman, “The Wolverine” is based on the celebrated comic book arc that reveals the man behind those adamantium claws, Logan aka Wolverine as we’ve never seen him before. Set in modern day Japan, he finds himself out of his depth in an unknown world where he encounters unexpected and deadly opponents that will leave him forever changed.

This stand-alone epic from the X-Men universe reveals the untold story of Wolverine, the most iconic of mutants and brings the character saga to greater heights in depth, intensity and action as he struggles with his immortality.

Directed by James Mangold and written by Mark Bomback and Christopher McQuarrie, the movie also features an amazing cast which includes Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida, Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper, Rila Fukushima as Yukio, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shingen Yashida, Will Yun Lee as Kenuichio Harada and Brian Tee as Noburo Mori.
